We’re looking for a Head of Panel Operations to join our fast-growing team at Vypr. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape and deliver our global panel strategy, ensuring data quality and scalability as we expand into new markets. You’ll lead a talented team, build strong supplier partnerships, and explore innovative approaches to consumer intelligence – all while playing a key part in the next stage of our scale-up journey.

Vypr is a Manchester HQ’d Private Equity/Venture Capital backed SaaS business. Our market-leading product intelligence platform provides reliable consumer data to help manufacturers and retailers understand what their customers want to see on shelves. The Panel Operations team is responsible for panel management and data quality of our UK proprietary panel, and for the sourcing and management of our partners’ global proprietary panels in over 20 markets.
Things that you will do
Lead the team to deliver the Panel Operations strategy.
1. Ensure that Vypr can deliver consumer responses globally by via consumer panels.
Grow our International Footprint via panel supplier partners, including
– Sourcing audience suppliers, establishing & managing relationships, enhancing margin while meeting customer needs (volume, speed and specific targeting)
2. Investigate and establish relationships with existing businesses with viable consumer memberships that can be leveraged for insight
3. Creating proprietary solutions in specific markets – assessing the viability, then building proprietary solutions ensuring they are cost effective by:
– Working with the product team to create a new app and separate brand
– Optimising Panel design and on-going management to ensure representativeness, speed of close, panel health
4. Ensure that data quality remains an integral part of the Vypr DNA for all panel solutions
5. Assess Complimentary revenue generating panel initiatives
– Data Strategy/Productisation
– Defining and creating ‘premium’ panels
– Monetising proprietary panels
6. Investigate alternative methods of gathering consumer intelligence with latest routes and technologies
– Complimentary behavioural data sources (e.g. social media scraping, augmented data, digital twins/synthetic data)
– Alternative survey routes: in-ad surveys, social media surveys
7. Lead by example. Despite being the leader of this team, this is a hands-on role where you will be expected to drive continual business improvement and drive action alongside your team
What you will be responsible for
Working with the COO to define and delivery the annual & future Panel Operations Strategy
Reporting & Communicating progress effectively to all levels
– Create and share internal Panel Operations updates to keep the COO and wider business informed and educated
– Update and maintain panel KPI reports and reporting dashboards, and support the implementation of quality improvement plans to achieve or exceed targets
Managing the team
– Ensure the team is engaged and is executing the right activities that will deliver against the strategy
– Ensure we are maximising reasonable output while being adequately resourced
