Vypr’s SDR Team Leader is a Manchester-based hybrid role balancing direct sales with team leadership to drive growth.

Vypr is a Manchester HQ’d Private Equity/Venture Capital backed SaaS business. Our market-leading product intelligence platform provides reliable consumer data to help manufacturers and retailers understand what their customers want to see on shelves. This helps reduce the time and cost spent developing new products, which makes for better products, faster.

The Sales Development Team Leader role is a new position at Vypr created to support our domestic and international growth. It is a player manager role which will balance team management with hands on revenue delivery responsibility.
Things that you will do
- Support team’s recruitment and onboarding
- Provide ongoing coaching to your direct reports
- Deliver a world-class sales experience by generating leads and booking qualified meetings with a high conversion rate
- Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
- Effectively partner and work across the Vypr teams including Customer Growth and Marketing
Own the first point of contact, acting as a subject matter expert on Vypr product offerings/solution development skills

- Maintaining consistently high levels of performance and engagement across the SDR team
- Performance coaching and KPI reporting
- Achieving assigned team and individual targets
- Modelling best practice and always leading by example by showcasing a consistently high standard of individual performance

- Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by Vypr
- Strong and professional communication skills — written, verbal, presentation
